WHAT ARE YOUR LEAD TIMES
FOR COMMISSIONED WORK?
My lead times are about 4-6 weeks.
I’m usually booked up 3 months in advance so be sure to get in touch 3-4 months before your required date to avoid disappointment and secure your booking!
My dairy for Christmas starts booking up 4-5 months in advance from around July/August time. So again, please be mindful of this when considering a commission.
HOW LONG DOES A PIECE TAKE?
The time a piece takes is typically dependant on the subject matter of the drawing. I go by a standard of one subject matter being a 20 hour piece, a two subject matter being a 30 hour piece etc. For larger subject pieces, please allow for me to evaluate the piece accordingly, dependant on the agreed composition and complexity of the subjects involved.
IS THERE A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
Yes, a non-refundable 25% deposit is required upon booking to secure your place. My time is in demand, therefore having a paid deposit upon booking ensures you have a guaranteed slot, and secures with me that the piece will be going ahead.
IS DELIVERY INCLUDED?
Delivery is included in the asking price for a commissioned piece IF you are in the local Cheshire area. I will personally deliver the piece to you, at an arranged day and time that works best for you. If however, you are not local, I will happily send the piece to you at an additional postage charge. Please see my Commission page for further details.
DO YOU SHIP OVER-SEAS?
Currently, the majority of my work is UK based. However, I have created some pieces for over-seas. In these cases, your piece will not come framed and additional shipping charges will apply. Please also consider that the lead times will be increased to accommodate for the distance and time zones.
